Dear all,
April brings the iconic Eden Arts Mt Eden Chamber Music Festival to the Village Centre and we are getting busier with classes and events. Thank you to our supporters and groups who attended or put on classes and events in the Village Centre over the last two years for all their support and hard work.
Join the Compassionate Collective this Saturday 2 April from 10.30am to 12.00pm to ponder, “Who am I?”. One of the most beautiful things we can do as humans is to discover who we are, and what we have inside ourselves. At this free Workshop you will be able to learn, share and connect with like-minded people who are seeking to understand themselves and our beautiful world. More information is here.
Come and join us at the wonderful Mt Eden Village Craft Market here on Saturday 9 April from 9.30am to 3.00pm. You will have the opportunity to enter our Easter promotion. Every purchase goes in the draw to win this magnificent 40cm tall mixed chocolate bunny from Cara Telle at Telle Chocolate. We will also have students from Eliette’s Music Academy in Grafton entertaining us between 10.00am and 12.00pm, along with a fantastic line up of crafters with their hand made products. Facebook for more.
Learn Spanish with The Spanish Institute at the Mt Eden Village Centre! Teachers are native speakers of Spanish and courses are designed for Kiwis. The Spanish Institute is certified and is a member of the NZALT, STANZA and LANZBC. Time to prepare for that overseas trip you have been planning for the last two years! Class details and to book is here.
The Mt Eden Chamber Music Festival is one of the jewels of the Eden Arts calendar. In 2022 the festival features the NZ Trio, Melanie Lancon (flute), Bede Hanley (oboe), Stephen De Pledge (piano), NZ Chamber Soloists and Simeon Broom performing a variety of beautiful works. Information about the 3 concerts across Friday 29 April at 7.00pm, Saturday 30 April at 7.00pm and Sunday 1 May at 3.00pm is here.
Looking ahead we have Artists in Eden on 7 May. We’re also excited to bring you a May Music Carnival for the little people in our community who have missed out on the Little Day Out over the last two years.
Ngā mihi
