We have the Auckland Somatic Dance Collective here tonight 31 January and Friday 21 February at 6.45pm. Start your new year off with a bang! Somatic dance is a guided free form movement journey deep into the layers of the body, supported by a carefully curated soundscape in a non judgemental space. Auckland Somatic Dance are a collective of certified somatic dance facilitators and DJ’s who regularly offer dances in Auckland. Follow them on Facebook here.
When we look at the world around us, we might sometimes feel despondent or discouraged. At this half day Living Positively in a Trouble World course this Saturday 1 February with Kadampa Meditation, learn how to transform difficulties into opportunities for growth and happiness. Learn practical meditations and skilful ways of thinking that enable you to identify and challenge negative thoughts and replace them with positive states of mind such as compassion, wisdom, and love. The first Mt Eden Village Craft Market of 2025 is here on Saturday 8 February from 9.30am to 3.00pm. The Market is an amazing NZ Handmade market with talented and passionate crafters you will enjoy meeting and admiring. The much loved Eden Arts Music in Eden starts back on Friday 14 February at 12.00noon. Every Friday for an hour, pop in and enjoy music played by talented musicians and view the art of the month display. Free to all, it is a great way to ease back into the new year and enjoy the last weeks of summer in the Village. If you have kids, the Mt Eden Village Business Association and Bricks 4 Kidz are kicking off Date Night in Mt Eden Village on Friday 14 February! There will be FREE babysitting and activities here between 6.00pm and 9.00pm for parents dining at participating restaurants in the Village. 14 February is a special day and registration is essential so check back here for the link which will be posted soon. Proof of dining will be required on pick up.
The Timeless Preloved Fashion Market is here on Saturday 22 February from 10.00am to 3.00pm. The market has a focus on preloved, retro and vintage clothing and accessories and is here on the last Saturday of every alternative month (this is a change in 2025). The Mt Eden Wellbeing Market is in the Hall and Lounge on the same day, and last Saturday of every month, and is Central Auckland’s regular monthly mind, body and spirit market.

Her Sensory classes are thoughtfully designed to make the first few years of life enriching and enjoyable for those little ones and their grown ups.
