We have some great events this July at the Mt Eden Village Centre to help chase away any winter blues.
Village Music presents Donna Dean and Brent Parlane in concert on Friday 7 July from 8pm. Brent is one of our great musical exports, playing regularly in Australia and currently on a world tour. Tui winner Donna was one of Village Music’s first concert performers and has released a whole lot of new material. Donna and Brent have performed together in Melbourne and are looking forward to a special evening with you. As always, bring friends, bring family and bring your ears. Tickets available from Eventfinda and http://villagemusic.co.nz.
The Mt Eden Village Craft Market takes over the Centre on the second Saturday of the month – 8 July from 10.00am to 4.00pm. You will find a great range of unique and original crafts lovingly handmade in New Zealand by expert crafters.
Information about our regular classes for performance, dance, yoga and theatre improvisation, and AA and NA meetings, can of course be found on our website at
We do have some changes to our regular programmes during the school holidays, so make sure you double-check with your instructor or our Village Centre website.

After the school holidays, a special 10-week programme for Year 6 tween girls starts on Tuesday 25 July. Adrienne’s Tween Bootcamp will run after school from 4.00pm to 5.30pm in the Lounge. Girls will be encouraged to discuss, learn and practice skills and ideas that will better equip them for their teenage years and beyond. Spaces are limited to encourage participation and provide a safe and friendly learning environment, so contact ADRIENNEKILLICK@GMAIL.COM for more information.
Our popular monthly Baby Sensory classes are on 25 July. Designed to stimulate, educate and provide precious memories during the all-important first year of life, it’s a lovely class for parents and caregivers as well.
