December 2023

Dear all,

With the holiday season upon us, we thank you all for your support of the Mt Eden Village Centre this year.

We celebrate the Artists in Eden Christmas Special here this Saturday 2 December. Artists will be at work from 10.00am to 3.00pm and will offer small works for sale as a nod to the festive season, with all works measuring no more than 200mm x 200mm and all offered at a flat rate of $200 each. This is a chance for the community to watch artists at work and purchase a special gift in time for Christmas.

The Mt Eden Craft Market is holding their final market of the year on Saturday 9 December from 9.30am to 3.00pm. There will be over 50 stallholders offering a wide range of quality crafts. Every purchase over $10 qualifies for an entry into their prize draw. There are two fantastic prizes up for grabs; a $100 Christmas hamper and a $50 Farmers voucher. Facebook for more.

Linda Kerr and Players invite you to join them this Sunday 3 December at 3.00pm for the Valley of the Lost Birds … a friendship, a quest, a tempest (yes, just like Shakespeare), a mysterious valley, a discovery of something so precious it will take your breath away … … pack up your billy and your sleeping bag and come walk with them on a musical journey into the wild …. All welcome.

In 2024 Pform.nz are celebrating 10 Years of classes here at the Mt Eden Village Centre!! Support groups AA and NA continue through the December/January period. Alcoholics Anonymous meet every Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 10.00am in the Lounge, and Narcotics Anonymous meet every Friday from 12.15pm in the Hall.
