The conductor of the Auckland City Brass is talented trombonist Mark Close. Everyone is welcome and no tickets are required. More information about the band is here.

Kadampa Meditation have a half day course here focusing on Creating Mental Space on Saturday 20 Julyfrom 9.45am. At present our mind moves from thought to thought without control. This state of inner turbulence and busyness is the basis of our anxiety and depression and makes our inner world cluttered and unpeaceful. On this course you will learn special meditations taught by Buddha that dissolve the turbulence and negativities away, and in this way reveal the natural peace and clarity of your mind. Bookings and more information is here.

The Timeless Preloved Fashion Market is here on Saturday 27 July from 10.00am to 2.00pm. The Mt Eden Wellbeing Market is in the Hall and Lounge on the same day from 10.00amto 3.00pm and is Central Auckland’s regular monthly mind, body and spirit market.

Now is the season to get the body moving with dance classes here in the Hall.  On Mondays we have Swing Out Central here with regular Beginner and Intermediate Balboa classes.  The next class block starts 29 July so there is no excuse not to sign up here. We also have Street Swing here every Tuesday with West Coast Swing classes and social dancing. You can join them any week and your first class is free.  More information is here.
