The last Mt Eden Village Craft Market of 2025 is here on Saturday 13 December from 9.30am to 3.00pm. The Market is an amazing NZ Handmade market with talented and passionate crafters you will enjoy meeting and admiring. A great place to purchase your Xmas presents, they also have a shopper incentive this month! Facebook for more information. Shop local and shop NZ Handmade to support our community.

George Villa and JosiahXVI bring their genre-blending artistry to Mount Eden for an intimate live show on Saturday 12 December at 8.00pm that highlights two distinct but deeply connected creative voices. Fresh off releases like Colours and Time Gon’ Trickle Down, George Villa and his live band will be bringing grooving guitar rhythms, rich bass lines and raw, soulful vocals with his signature DIY touch. Joining him is producer/rapper JosiahXVI, delivering a blend of mellow grooves and sharp introspective storytelling. This event is BYO and tickets are here.

The Auckland Somatic Dance Collective celebrate the end of 2025 on Friday 19 December and the start of 2026 on Friday 30 January both here at 6.45pm. Somatic dance is a guided free form movement journey deep into the layers of the body, supported by a carefully curated soundscape in a non judgemental space. Auckland Somatic Dance are a collective of certified somatic dance facilitators and DJ’s who regularly offer dances in Auckland. Follow them on Facebook here.

Highly regarded School Holiday Programme Side Quest is back with Hearts of Stone, an immersive D&D course that emphasises storytelling and critical thinking. Here from Monday 12 January to Friday 16 January 2026, there is no need for postholiday blues as Side Quest will have your adventurer looking forward to collaborative storytelling, character creation, monsters, mystery, and epic fun – designed especially for kids who love D&D, fantasy, and big adventures. Kadampa Meditation are here on Wednesday evenings for weekly Meditation Classes where a different aspect of meditation and Buddism is explained. The last class of 2025 is Wednesday 10 December and they restart in 2026 on Wednesday 21 January. Kadampa also have a half day course here on Saturday 31 January 2026. The Office will close for the summer break on Friday 19 December 2025 at 12.00noon and reopen on Wednesday 14 January 2026 at 9.00am.

Support groups AA and NA continue through the December/January period. Alcoholics Anonymous meet every Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 10.00am in the Lounge, and Narcotics Anonymous meet every Friday from 12.15pm in the Hall.
