The much loved Eden Arts Trust Music in Eden restarts on Friday 13 February at 12.00noon. Every Friday for an hour, pop in and enjoy music played by talented musicians and view the artist highlight. Free to all, it is a great way to ease back into the new year and enjoy the last weeks of summer in the Village. The first Mt Eden Village Craft Market of 2026 is here on Saturday 14 February from 9.30am to 3.00pm. The Market is an amazing NZ Handmade market with talented and passionate crafters you will enjoy meeting and admiring. Popular Pform performing arts school is here every Tuesday for dance|sing|act classes for junior and senior pupils. Pform have awesome tutors who believe in self expression and confidence building through the arts. More information is here. We also have the School of Voice and Drama Skills here every Thursday for speech and drama coaching. Led by award winning teacher Glenda Pearce, your student will flourish in this supportive environment. More information is here.
Join Kadampa Meditation on Saturday 21 February for Developing Authentic Self Esteem. In this half day course, Kelsang Lachpa will support you to examine Buddha’s teachings to dismantle your self perception as someone who doesn’t measure up. More information and to book is here. Kadampa is also here every Wednesday evening from 7.30pm for weekly drop-in meditation and buddhism classes.
Mutu Arts is running a Taster Art Class on Tuesday 24 February from 4.30pm. This is an introductory class to explore and experience your creativity within a mindful atmosphere. Designed for adults and teens of all experience levels, the session is especially suitable for beginners who are curious about visual art but unsure where to start. Registration essential here.
We have the Auckland Somatic Dance Collective here on Friday 27 February at 6.45pm. Start your new year off with a bang! Somatic dance is a guided free form movement journey deep into the layers of the body, supported by a carefully curated soundscape in a non judgemental space. Auckland Somatic Dance are a collective of certified somatic dance facilitators and DJ’s who regularly offer dances in Auckland. Follow them on Facebook here.
The Mt Eden Wellbeing Market is in the Hall and Lounge on Saturday 28 February from 10.00am to 3.00pm and is Central Auckland’s regular monthly mind, body and spirit market. The market is here on the last Saturday of every month from February to November. Visit their Facebook page for updates here.
If you have kids, the Mt Eden Village Business Association and Bricks 4 Kidz are kicking off Date Night in Mt Eden Village on Saturday 28 February! There will be FREE babysitting and activities here for kids 5+ between 6.00pm and 9.00pm for parents or caregivers dining at participating restaurants in the Village. Registration is essential here for these popular evenings. Proof of dining will be required on pick up.
The kids have waited all year for the return of Little Day Out and thanks to all our supporters, it is back on Saturday 7 March from 10.00am to 1.00pm. We can’t wait to open our doors to the younger members of our community and see them enjoy the wonderful Free activities. Big thanks to our supporters the Albert-Eden Local Board, Ray White Mt Eden, the Mt Eden Village Business Association and of course our wonderful volunteers. Sneak peek of Raffle prizes sees support from wonderful local businesses including newbies Altar Café, Mercy Hospice Shop, Workshop Bread Company and even more fabulous support from Ray White Mt Eden.
