DESCRIPTION:We are privileged to have Dr Rashi Parker – General Manager at BirdCare Aotearoa – here for a talk as part of the Urban Ark Speaker Series. Entry is Free but registration is essential here:\nhttps://events.humanitix.com/urban-ark-speaker-series…\nThis excellent charity run a native bird hospital and have noted an increasing number of life-threatening cases where birds have collided with (increasingly tall) buildings\, been dazzled by night lights\, or contracted contagious\, waterborne diseases (e.g.\, Avian Botulism).
