Dear all,
It’s great to be supporting many of our regular classes, support groups and events again this June.
If any of you were around in Auckland for “the Gluepot days”, or were present at a “Neighbours” gig, you will know Sam Ford & Trudi Green. You will also know that this upcoming Village Music soirée on Friday 17 June at 8.00pm will be a great night out. Rehearsals with The Little Soulahula Band began a few months ago, interrupted only by the lockdown, but undaunted. There is also new material in the mix! This will be a ‘not to be missed’ occasion for sure – so definitely put this date in the diary and book your tickets here. BYO your favourite tipple.
We are thrilled to have Amanda here for weekly Soul Me Up Hatha Yoga classes on Thursdays at 6.15pm in the Hall. Hatha Yoga is practiced at a slower pace, focusing on integrating the breath and movement mindfully. On the physical level the focus is to increase your flexibility as well as challenge your strength. On the emotional level, it helps de-stress, reduce anxiety and encourages you to relax. All yoga levels are welcome and please come for a free trial. More information is here.
Come and join us at the wonderful Mt Eden Village Craft Market here on Saturday 11 June from 9.30am to 3.00pm. Congratulations to Eunice Wong, winner of the baby gift basket from last month’s promotion. Come along and enjoy this month’s market, with over 40 stalls, including many regulars along with some wonderful new crafters. Facebook for more.
