DESCRIPTION:Launched by Eden Arts in 2016\, the Mt Eden Chamber Music Festival has become a popular annual event on the Auckland arts calendar. It takes the form of three one-hour early evening/afternoon concerts in the heart of Mt Eden over the course of a weekend\, featuring some of the best professional chamber musicians in the country. Artistic Director violinist Simeon Broom (NZSO) grew up in Mt Eden and had the vision of creating a local festival here along the lines of the European festivals he has played in. We celebrate the 10th year of the Mt Eden Chamber Music Festival this year!
